How we handle information when you use the Intent IQ platform.
Effective Date: May 8, 2026
Last Updated: May 8, 2026
At Intent IQ, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use the Intent IQ platform.
1. Who This Policy Applies To
We collect the following types of information:
This Privacy Policy describes how GetIntent a dba of Insure Connect, LLC ("GetIntentIQ," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with its software platform and messaging services. GetIntentIQ is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.
This Policy applies to two distinct groups
- Clients: Businesses (typically insurance agencies) that access and use the GetIntentIQ platform pursuant to a service agreement.
- Recipients: Individuals who receive SMS messages or AI-generated voice calls transmitted through the Platform on behalf of Clients. Recipients are existing customers of the Client — not customers of GetIntentIQ.
Important: GetIntentIQ does not operate a consumer-facing product. If you received a text message or AI voice call and are looking for information about how your data is used, please also review the privacy policy of the agency that contacted you. GetIntentIQ acts as a service provider to that agency.
2. Information We Process
2.1 Client Data
When businesses register and use the Platform, we collect:
- Business contact information (name, email, phone, agency name)
- Billing and payment information
- Account credentials and usage data
- Campaign configuration and settings
2.2 Recipient Data (Processed on Behalf of Clients)
To deliver SMS and AI voice outreach services, Clients may provide us with limited information about their existing customers, including:
- Mobile and landline phone numbers
- First name (for message and call personalization, where provided)
- SMS opt-in/opt-out status
- AI voice call opt-out status
- Message and call delivery status and timestamps
- Call recordings or transcripts, where applicable and disclosed to the Recipient
3. How Consent Works
GetIntentIQ does not collect consent directly from Recipients. Consent to receive SMS messages and AI voice calls is established through the Client's existing customer relationship, in one or both of the following ways:
3.1 Implied Consent via Existing Relationship
A Recipient is an existing customer of the Client who provided their phone number in the course of a commercial transaction — such as purchasing an insurance policy, receiving a quote, or enrolling in a program. That established business relationship may form the basis for certain re-engagement communications under applicable law. Note: implied consent alone is not sufficient for AI voice calls or prerecorded messages to wireless numbers under the TCPA — express written consent is required for those interactions.
3.2 Express Written Consent
Where the Client has collected affirmative opt-in consent from a Recipient — at point of sale, through a signed form, or through a digital enrollment — that documented consent is the legal basis for SMS messages and AI voice calls facilitated by GetIntentIQ. Express written consent is required for AI voice outreach to mobile numbers. Clients retain consent records and are responsible for their sufficiency.
3.3 AI Voice — Additional Consent Requirements
AI voice calls using artificial or prerecorded voices are subject to heightened consent standards under the TCPA and FTC Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR). Clients deploying AI voice outreach through the Platform represent that they have obtained express written consent from each Recipient for that specific channel. GetIntentIQ configures AI voice calls to include an identification disclosure and opt-out mechanism at the start of each call, as required by applicable law.
GetIntentIQ does not independently verify consent. Our clients represent and warrant that all Recipients have provided sufficient consent for the channel used (SMS or AI voice). If you believe you have received a message or call in error, please contact the agency identified in the communication or email privacy@getintentiq.com.
4. How We Use Information
Client Information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Platform
- To process payments and provide customer support
- To communicate updates, compliance notices, and service information
- To comply with legal obligations
Recipient Information (Processed on Behalf of Clients)
- To transmit SMS messages as instructed by the Client
- To process and honor opt-out requests for both SMS and voice channels
- To generate delivery and call reporting and campaign analytics for the Client
- To comply with carrier requirements, FCC rules, FTC Telemarketing Sales Rule, and applicable telecommunications law
We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose Recipient information to any third party for independent marketing or advertising purposes. Recipient data is never used to build consumer profiles, sold to data brokers, or shared across Clients.
5. SMS Messaging, AI Voice Calls & Opt-Out
Recipients who receive SMS messages through the Platform can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Opt-out requests are processed immediately and the relevant Client is notified. No further messages will be sent to opted-out numbers unless the Recipient provides fresh, documented consent to the Client.
Recipients who receive AI voice calls through the Platform can opt out of future voice calls by following the spoken opt-out instructions provided at the beginning of each call. Voice opt-outs are logged, communicated to the Client, and applied independently from SMS opt-outs. A Recipient who opts out of voice calls will continue to receive SMS unless they also opt out of that channel separately.
Recipients may reply HELP to any SMS to receive assistance, including the name of the sending agency and contact information. For AI voice calls, the calling party and callback number are disclosed during the call.
Standard message and data rates may apply based on the Recipient's wireless plan.
To opt out of SMS: Reply STOP to any message.
To opt out of AI voice calls: Follow prompts during the call.
For SMS help: Reply HELP or email privacy@getintentiq.com.
SMS message frequency: Varies by agency campaign activity.
Carriers: Not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. No Sharing of Mobile Phone Numbers or SMS Data
Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information collected or processed in connection with our messaging services will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This information is used solely to deliver SMS communications on behalf of our insurance agency clients to their existing customers, and to process and honor opt-out requests. GetIntentIQ will not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise disclose mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or any information derived from SMS interactions to any third party for independent marketing, advertising, or targeting purposes. Mobile data shared with our SMS delivery and carrier infrastructure partners is strictly limited to what is necessary to transmit the requested messages and is governed by data processing agreements that prohibit any secondary use of that data. Opt-out requests received via SMS (STOP replies) are processed immediately, recorded, and are never shared, sold, or used for any purpose other than suppression of future messages to that number.
7. Data Sharing & Service Providers
GetIntentIQ may share data with the following categories of vendors to operate the Platform:
- SMS gateway and carrier aggregator partners (for message delivery)
- AI voice infrastructure providers (for call generation and delivery)
- Cloud infrastructure providers (for hosting and data storage)
- Payment processors (for billing)
- Analytics providers (for platform performance monitoring)
All third-party service providers are bound by data processing agreements that prohibit use of data beyond the scope of services provided to GetIntentIQ. We do not share data with advertising networks, social media platforms, or data brokers.
8. Data Retention
Client account data is retained for the duration of the service relationship and for a period of up to three (3) years thereafter, or as required by applicable law. Recipient contact data provided by Clients is retained only as long as necessary to deliver services and comply with opt-out and audit obligations. Clients may request deletion of Recipient data by submitting a written request to their account manager.
9. Security
GetIntentIQ employs administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. These include encrypted data transmission, access controls, and vendor security assessments. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage Clients to report suspected security incidents promptly.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding personal information, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of data. Clients may exercise these rights directly through the Platform or by contacting support. Recipients seeking to exercise privacy rights should contact the agency that sent them a message; GetIntentIQ will cooperate with Client requests to fulfill such obligations.
